# Amass for SciSure — The science behind your experiments

Amass for SciSure

# Explore the science behind your experiments

Amass and SciSure are bringing scientific intelligence directly into the lab workflow. Add your experiments to a research question and follow the evidence across literature, trials, patents, drugs and genes, without leaving SciSure.

## Scientific intelligence inside your lab notebook

Amass connects scientific sources through specialized \*Cores, so you can follow one question across domains in one conversation. The SciSure integration adds your own experiments as context.

Researchers organize and document their experiments in SciSure's electronic laboratory notebook. Amass runs inside it.

How it works

## From your experiment to the supporting evidence

1. Step 1

    ### Bring your experiments into the conversation

Search your SciSure experiments and add up to five experiments that bear on your question. Amass then reads the evidence in the context of your work.

[View full size (opens in a new tab)](https://amass.tech/scisure/02-select-experiments.png)

2. Step 2

    ### Choose what Amass reads

Preview the text, select sections and optionally mask compound IDs before the context joins your conversation.

3. Step 3

    ### Ask about your own research

Ask Amass to review a methodology, investigate possible explanations for an unexpected result or find evidence that challenges a hypothesis. Your experiment is the starting point.

4. Step 4

    ### Review the answer and its sources

Read the suggestions next to the evidence behind them. The references separate sources cited from sources reviewed, and follow-up questions stay inside SciSure.

Example questions

## Questions to ask about your experiment

- Review this methodology against relevant published studies. Where are the gaps?

- What could explain this unexpected result, and which evidence supports each explanation?

- Find evidence that challenges our working hypothesis.

- Which follow-up experiments could help distinguish between these explanations?

Open the references and judge how the evidence applies to your study before you act on the answer.

Your data

## You choose the context you share

Select the experiment sections relevant to your question and review the text before you share it with Amass. The integration uses selected text; experiment attachments and images are excluded.

### Preview the content

See selected experiments, sections and an approximate word count.

### Mask compound IDs

Optionally replace compound identifiers with masked labels. Names, sample codes and patient identifiers are not masked by this control.

### Check the scope

The interface shows which sections are included and whether compound IDs are masked.

Customer data, including queries, documents, results and outputs, is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. This applies to Amass models and to any third-party model providers we use.

FAQ

## Questions about Amass in SciSure

Can I ask questions without attaching an experiment?

Yes. Start with a scientific question, or select experiments to add context from your own work.

What can I add from SciSure?

Select up to five experiments and choose the sections to include. The integration shares text only; attachments and images are excluded. The selector lets you browse the latest 100 experiments.

Can I check the evidence behind a response?

Yes. Inspect the references and distinguish sources cited in the response from those reviewed during the research.

What does compound ID masking cover?

It replaces compound identifiers with masked labels. Names, sample codes and patient identifiers are not masked by this control. Review the selected text before sharing it.

What does access cost?

Contact Amass to confirm access and pricing for your SciSure workspace. General Amass plans are available on [our pricing page](https://amass.tech/pricing).
